Extreme Couponing
Every once in a while my Sunday paper will come with a big banner that reads “Over $150 of savings inside!” The paper will be stuffed with all sorts of advertising fliers that have a whole bunch of coupons attached. If you are diligent in searching through the coupons, and you’re willing to buy the products they promote, you can save a considerable amount of money.

On the Job Learning
My first real job was with a farmer who lived up the road from us. He was a young farmer who had lost his wife to a sudden illness. He had some young kids, not old enough to help him much. One day he pulled onto our yard and talked to my Dad about me coming up to help him with some chores. I was 14 or 15.
